Life Is Too Short
To Save Your Good Perfume
For Best
There is a glass cabinet in quite a lot of British homes. It contains the good china that never gets used, a candle that smells incredible but is too nice to burn, and at least one bottle of designer perfume that gets treated like a controlled substance. You bought it, or someone bought it for you, and now it lives there. Being admired. Not worn. Sprayed approximately twice a year on occasions significant enough to justify it. This is not what it was made for.
Scentspired exists because of that bottle. We love fragrance. We also find it quite hard to justify spending £150 on something you end up rationing like medicine. The designers themselves do not have this problem. They have enormous margins, celebrity campaigns, and a very nice shop on Bond Street. What they do not always have is an answer for the person who wants to smell extraordinary on a Wednesday afternoon without remortgaging to do it.
So we built one.
Scentspired creates luxury inspired perfumes. Each one is developed to capture the essence of a designer fragrance you already know, using high-quality fragrance oils that perform at the level you expect. Not something that smells roughly similar on the first spray and then disappears by lunch. Something you reach for because it works, lasts, and costs about £15.99. The idea being that you can actually wear it. Every day. Without keeping a tally.
We also believe that incredible scent should not be a privilege. It should be accessible to anyone who wants to feel something when they walk into a room, whatever their budget happens to be. That is the whole point of what we do.
Why We Say Inspired And Not The Other Word
We do not use the word dupe.
Not because we are being precious about it, but because it is not accurate.
A dupe implies a cheap imitation knocked together somewhere unpleasant and shipped in a box that smells of cardboard. What we make is different: a carefully developed fragrance inspired by the character of a designer scent, built with quality fragrance oils, bottled properly, and presented in a way that does not embarrass itself on your shelf.
The inspiration is transparent. The quality is not a compromise.
The inspired fragrance market has a range of players. Some are excellent. Some smell like a vague memory of a perfume. The single biggest difference between a fragrance that performs and one that fades in forty minutes is almost always the quality of the fragrance oil. We do not cut corners there.
The formulation, the concentration, the way a scent develops and changes on your skin throughout the day: these are the things we are obsessive about.
The other thing we are fairly committed to is not looking like a brand that cuts corners. The packaging, the presentation, the way we talk about our products: none of it suggests you have settled for less. Because you have not. You have just spent your money more sensibly, which is a very British thing to do.
Start
If you are new here, the bestsellers page is the most sensible place to begin. It is where the fragrances that converted people who were previously quite sceptical tend to live.
Pick one. Open it Wear it on a Tuesday. The glass cabinet does not need to be involved.
